Curvy Spotlight - Michele LaRocque
"IT'S BEEN DECADES SINCE I'VE ENJOYED WORKING OUT
UNTIL I DISCOVERED MICHELE....MY MENTOR
The youngest and most fit 51-year-old ZUMBA Instructor! Michele is a mother of 3 beautiful grown children whom she adores and finds every chance to be with despite distance. She trains people of all ages and is known to captivate her class with sexy yet graceful, rhythmic movements. She can make working out very easy and fun! After taking her class I found myself feeling very happy and gratified. I longed for my next session with her. Michele has inspired me to enjoy working out once again. Thank you Michele!" - Dora Lau
THIS MAY, THE CURVY SPOTLIGHT SHINES ON
MICHELE LAROCQUE
At a young age I discovered that simply moving my body to music made me feel good and it's been a part of my life ever since. I'm a Personal Trainer, Group Exercise and Zumba Instructor and bring fitness to Corporations. I've worked in the Fitness Industry for 30 years. My passion is to help others realize that exercise doesn't have to be a chore, it helps reduce stress, boosts brain power, alleviates anxiety, increases your energy and much more! I'm a believer that whatever you do, it needs to feel fun! If you enjoy it, you'll do it!
I've had wonderful opportunities to bring fitness to a Rehab Center, a Womens and childrens shelter and teach at the Embrace Ex4Vets Fundraiser, raising money for homeless and disabled Veterans. Nothing touches me more than to be able to give back and help others.
I LOVE my job but my role as a mother, has been first and foremost, my most rewarding job! I have 3 amazing kids and a wonderful step-daughter. Recently my oldest turned 30 years old and it seems like yesterday I held him in my arms, with no instruction manual attached to him, just had an overwhelming feeling of love for my little guy.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE
MY JOB AS A MOM!
Nothing can truly prepare a woman for motherhood. We learn as we go through life experiences with them. As mom's we are constantly learning and growing with life's ups and the downs. We as moms are not perfect. We protect like a momma bear and love with every part of our being.
Now that my kids are grown I cherish our adult relationship and remind them often how much I love them and that I'm proud of them. I felt unconditional love from my own mom, it gave me the strength and courage to take on the world. I love my job in fitness...but I absolutely LOVE my job as a mom!
