Curvy Girl March: Brianna Grim

This month Curvy Couture recognizes Brianna Grim as Curvy Girl March. Growing up I spent a lot of time with my mom, and I always heard her being down on herself. She constantly commented on how "ugly" and "fat" she thought she was. I also grew to be stricken by similar feelings of self-hate. I went throughout school constantly striving to be skinnier, prettier, and a "better" version of myself. It was not until I finished school when I came to the realization that I never needed to try and that I had always been beautiful. EVERY BODY IS BEAUTIFUL
NO MATTER THE SHAPE, SIZE OR COLOR My journey to realizing I was beautiful happened when I started sharing my makeup creations on Facebook. I soon got into pin up modeling as I was very in love with its vintage appeal. Being a part of the pin up community has completely altered my life. I enjoy sharing my photos and I continue to be an inspiration to my followers. Seeing people comment that I am beautiful along with all the other positive feedback on my non-retouched photos, makes me feel the best I have ever felt. There have been women who approached me and thanked me for showing people that you can be beautiful at my size, and it makes me feel wonderful. I still struggle from time to time, but I always have the pin up community to make me feel strong again. My mission is to spread the word that every body is beautiful, no matter the shape, size or color. We are all beautiful wonderful people!
